To Be Announced
It is with a broken heart to announce that my beloved husband passed away peacefully February 28, 2024 in the early morning hours. He passed due to complications of his being diagnosed with “Lewys Body Disease” 5 years ago.
Don wanted to be laid to rest “on the mountain” and chose Gray Creek Cemetery and he wanted “sandwiches” in the Gray Creek Hall. We will honor his wishes later (June/July), we will keep you informed.
Cremation has taken place.

Have you seen the full moon?
The March full moon, known as the Worm Moon, Crow Moon, Sap Moon or Lenten Moon, always shines in or near the stars of Leo (the Lion) or Virgo (the Maiden).
This "Paschal" moon ("paschal" derived from "Pascha", a transliteration of the Aramaic word meaning Passover) controls when Easter and Passover are observed. This moveable feast of Easter always falls on the Sunday following the Paschal full moon.
Did you know?
Some indigenous names for this full moon are: Ziissbaakdoke-giizis “Sugar Moon”, Onaabani-giizis, “Hard Crust on the Snow Moon”, Mikisiwipisim, “the Eagle Moon”(month when the eagle returns), and Anvyi, the “Windy Moon”.
